How it works
Add an audio file (MP3, WAV or OGG) by dragging it onto the drop zone or clicking to browse. The tool decodes it with the Web Audio API and draws the waveform on a canvas, where you can click and drag to select the part you want to keep. Fine-tune the boundaries with the numeric Start and End time fields, and use the playback controls to preview either the whole track or just your selection before committing. When you are happy, click Trim & Download to export the selected region as a WAV file. It is handy for cutting a ringtone, grabbing a clip from a recording, trimming silence from the start or end of a take, or pulling a short sample out of a longer track without installing an audio editor. Decoding and trimming both happen inside your browser tab, so your audio is never uploaded; very large files over about 100 MB take longer to decode, depending on your hardware.
